I reached out to Tom a while back with an idea of doing a top ten list of military issued items and comparing them against each other. I’ve kept in touch with Tom since then, and ran into him once in Seattle as he was on his way through the airport.
After last year’s S.E.R.E. challenge, Tom wanted to come out and participate. I can tell you, he ;did a phenomenal job – but I did take the opportunity to do a small collaboration with him while we were together.
