Description
The ability to effectively navigate can result in your ability to thrive in the wilderness, and prepare you to operate in a contested environment. Each year, thousands of search and rescue operations are conducted to return or recover those who became lost or suffered injuries.
This course is designed for those who have no experience as well as the novice, and present the fundamentals in both a classroom environment and land navigation course that will take you beyond military standards of proficiency.
Cost is $200 with a couple caveats: YOUR child (under 18) may attend for free (provided they traveled in your vehicle). Parking is limited, and groups are small as a result. IF you plan on carpooling with others, let Stoker know so he can adjust the class size as needed. You will pack all of your equipment (including food, which is not provided) – once we depart, there will be no returning to vehicles. Conditions are austere (no electricity, running water, etc).
LOCATION: Blairsville, GA. All coordinating instructions will be sent upon registration.

This was an excellent course of instruction. As a student new to land navigation, I found that the class to be very informative and well laid out. Stoker had no problem giving hands on guidance whenever my classmates and I required it, and Riggs made his rounds on the course to make sure we didn’t get too far off. Once the morning session was completed, we went to the field and did some supervised on the ground training.
