I gotta say I try to get these out once a week now – and I guess I missed last weeks – my fault, your bad. But, had a fella reach out and slap me in the face and said I missed the one for the medical – so we’ll start there and another question posed…what’s this $1.99 on the store? It’s a pdf of Master Your Craft – 8 fieldcraft rules 53 pages. Links to each video will be down at the bottom.

CHANGING CURRENTS
Fair warning: the next few months are going to look a little different around here, and I want you to hear it from me before the algorithm tries to explain it to you.
Here’s the thing I’ve been sitting with for a while now, and I might as well just say it plain: knowing how to build a fire doesn’t tell you why you’d bother staying alive to build the next one. I can teach you comms discipline all day long. I can’t teach you what’s worth saying once the channel’s finally clear. Turns out that’s a separate skill, and it’s the one nobody puts in a survival manual.
So — new stuff, coming in alongside everything you already come here for. Some of it’s going to look like a guy on a stool asking why half of what “everybody knows” doesn’t survive being said out loud in a full sentence. Some of it’s going to be shorter, sharper — one idea, one word, one tool for your head, the kind of thing you can actually use the next time somebody at Thanksgiving tells you truth is just “what works for you.” (It isn’t. I’ll show you why. Bring popcorn.)
None of it replaces the fieldcraft. Think of it as the layer underneath the fieldcraft — the “why bother” under the “how to.” Same guy, same shop, just also poking at the bigger questions with the same stubbornness I use on a stuck bolt.
I’m not going to pretend this is risk-free for me. Some of you subscribed for exactly one thing and you’re allowed to be annoyed I’m adding a second thing. That’s fair. I’d rather lose a few of you being honest about where this is headed than keep everybody by staying shallow forever. You didn’t sign up for shallow. I’ve read your comments. Half of you are smarter than the channel currently gives you credit for.
So — buckle up a little. Same voice, same shop, just a bigger workbench. Fieldcraft on Mondays, something for your head sprinkled in behind it, and I promise I’ll tell you which is which before you click.
If any of that sounds like your kind of trouble, hit reply and tell me — fieldcraft, the philosophy stuff, or “yes, both, obviously.” I actually read these and it’ll shape what ships first.
And if you know a guy who’s sharp but bored — the type who’d rather argue about what “real” means than watch another gear review — send him this. Not as a jab. As bait.
